(北角)Iceyaki

隨著天氣開始變熱刨冰又回到甜品界主流,想必有玩Threads的人或多或少都會在Threads上看到過香港刨冰界Iceyaki的post極多次了。我的Threads友奶老師跟0421老師也算是他們的常客,之前看奶老師提及過紅茶Biscoff冰,已經有點芳心暗許的感覺,無奈北角離家實在太遠,等到前陣子朋友邀約去吃刨冰才想起Iceyaki。 由於Iceyaki開始崛起,到店當日有大約十個人左右排在我們前面,果真是客似雲來。在這個餐飲業的寒冬,見到一家食店出現人龍,我也為它感到高興。吃Iceyaki是一件很自助的事情,我們當天連入座也靠後面排隊的人提醒。進店後每張桌子上都有QR code,自己點完餐後線上付款再等叫號取冰,I人的天堂。 紅茶Biscoff冰表現實在太優秀了,表面淋上帶餅乾焦香氣的Biscoff牛奶汁,吃下去順滑自然。上面是Biscoff cream cheese,也很合我胃口,很開胃。中間的紅茶cream十分精彩,吃上去不會太濃,反而帶濃郁紅茶香。 這種天氣很快就吃完一個冰了,可憐我的氣管如此敏感也要陪主人吃這種很冰的甜品。聽說曼近Iceyaki的排隊情況相當熱烈,而且部分冰每日數量有限,大家如果去的話要留意天氣情況不要因排隊中暑,因為想吃消暑冰品而排隊排到中暑這件事是相當反智的。 地址:北角錦屏街31A號地舖 Google Map  按這裡

(With English Version)(太子)Alcove

最近我在太子有間愛到死去活來的café,短時間內到訪三次說明我實在非常喜歡,吃完之後還把影片剪成reels放到IG了,到目前為止有十二萬人左右看過,可見其吸引力有多大。


在social media上沒看到過他們的帖文、也沒看朋友吃過,純粹是一次去黃金買完SD卡之後機緣巧合下在Google Map上發掘到Alcove,開業時間不長但屬於一家難得的好店。


我敢說他們蛋糕質素完勝很多café,注意是完勝不是小勝。我本來對巴斯克芝士蛋糕這款甜品有些厭倦,因為實在吃得太多,而且走紅之後彷彿到處也有。不過吃了這家的蛋糕有耳目一新的感覺,定價也十分合理,真心屬於業界楷模。


苿莉花茶巴斯克芝士蛋糕


苿莉花茶味道清新怡人不死甜,每一口的盡頭都能嚐到茶的回甘。


配上豆乳忌廉和糖漬柑桔,由此配搭不難看甜品師可謂蛋糕界天選之人...豆乳忌廉味道清雅且帶來厚實溫柔的口感、糖漬柑桔為整體補充清新天然的甜味。


芝麻巴斯克芝士蛋糕


巴斯克芝士蛋糕功底深厚,在其細緻綿密的口感上疊加了些許黑芝麻細細的顆粒感,芝麻味非常香濃。


Iced Black


每次來我都喝Iced Black,吃甜品時來一口咖啡剛剛好。我對咖啡認知很淺,純粹覺得Iced Black喝起來口感很清透所以才喜歡在吃甜品時喝一杯。

I stumbled upon this place on Google Maps by chance after buying some micro SD card at Golden Computer Arcade. It’s a new spot, but the quality is top-notch. Their cakes are on a whole different level. Recently I got a bit bored with Basque Cheesecakes since I had too much of them recently, but the Basque Cheesecake from Alcove totally changed my mind.


Jasmine Basque Cheesecake is fresh and not too sweet. The tea aftertaste is perfect. It’s served with soy cream and candied mandarin. It is such a heavenly match. The soy cream brings the delicate texture while the candied mandarin adds a natural sweetness to the cake.


Sesame Basque Cheesecake got a very rich sesame flavor with a smooth, creamy texture.


I always pair my dessert with an Iced Black. It’s light, refreshing, and balances the sweetness perfectly. I don't know much about coffee, maybe I will try to get Iced Latte from their next time.
